StreamGuys Brings Monetization Message to Hispanic Radio Conference

BAYSIDE, CA – June 5, 2025 – StreamGuys is preparing for a lively presence at next week’s Hispanic Radio Conference, where the company’s message of monetization and measurable attribution is sure to connect with broadcasters who collectively serve 40 million US Hispanic listeners each month.

That figure, cited in a story on HispanicAd.com, is associated with over-the-air listeners – though the same story notes substantial growth in ad-supported podcasts and streaming audio. That is music to the ears of StreamGuys, which returns to the conference for its second year with a strong programmatic advertising business, a new revenue support and consulting service, and a growing roster of Hispanic radio clients such as Latino Media Network and WAPA Media Puerto Rico.

“The overall Hispanic radio audience is very strong, and it’s the right time to help the broadcasters who serve this community make the most of their digital presence,” said Timothy LaBelle, Head of Sales, StreamGuys. “The shift to digital is still happening throughout radio, but we see an especially strong opportunity to help Hispanic broadcasters monetize more of their digital content. That includes dynamic ad insertions, audience extension and programmatic campaigns throughout our ad marketplace, and extends into technology stack with geotargeting and geoblocking initiatives for rights restrictions. These have been especially popular with our Hispanic radio customers who stream live sports.”

Geotargeting and localization will be among the topics that StreamGuys’ Vice President of Technology Eduardo Martinez will speak to as one of four panelists contributing to “Emerging Trends and Technology,” taking place on June 12 from 2:20-3pm. Moderated by Dara Kalvort, Corporate VP of Digital Sales and Strategy at Spanish Broadcasting System, the session will explore the technologies and strategies reshaping Hispanic radio.

Martinez also expects to cover the emerging influence of AI in streaming radio – an arena StreamGuys entered in February with the launch of an AI service for ad market tagging. “While we certainly look forward to discussions that focus on helping broadcasters make money through digital advertising, we are also excited to discuss how incorporating AI into the production workflow can automate tedious processes like midroll tagging for server-side ad insertion,” Martinez commented.

Hispanic Radio Conference attendees can reach out to StreamGuys to make an appointment. The conference takes place June 11-12 at the Sheraton North Houston.
